In 1991 I was born in Tampa, Florida. A state where I spent majority of my youth.

In 2014 I moved to Los Angeles, California to get my masters in music business and explore a city I've heard about my whole life.

Now its 2019 and i'm still here in Los Angeles physically. But mentally, i'm elsewhere. I have been for a while. Mostly wondering. Wondering why I came here. If I belong here. What I've done here. Who I was when I came. Who I am now. What i'm still doing here. What i'm supposed to be doing here. Where i'm supposed to go next, if anywhere. Who I've met here. Who I left back home. What I left back home.

Some call this overthinking. Some may call it overreacting. Most just call it a good ol quarter-life crisis.

But it's more than that. I feel like I've always been chasing SOMETHING since I was a kid. Something or someplace I can't describe. And like human nature, when I finally get there i'm usually left asking "Okay...what now? What's next?" What exactly am I looking for, again?

I feel like i'm at a pivotal age. Like the next decisions I make will determine the next chapters of my life in a major way. It feels like the risks are riskier now. It feels like time isn't on my side anymore. Or maybe never was.

This year i'm soundtracking my journey from hometown to "here". A Short Film of my life from then, to now.

Where I went.

Where i'm at.

I'm retracing my steps to understand where I came from so I can decide where to go next. It's scary because I don't know what's at the end. But i'm sure it could always be scarier.

This is Act I. I hope you'll join me for the journey. I hope in some way it tells all of our journeys.
